When the IndieGogo campaign ended, the option to receive a refund before shipment was removed.
Unfortunately, the other main option for refund requires shipment, then return. Personally I find this sub-optimal for many reasons, some of which are:
- cost for unnecessary freight back-and-forth,
- delay for the no-longer-willing recipient,
- delay for someone else who could have had that projector on the way to them,
- environmental impact from flying cargo across the globe and back,
- wasted manpower-time at Screeneo handling logistics for returns,
- and last but certainly not least, wasted processing capacity in the global logistics system that is already being strained beyond capacity trying to handle critical medical equipment shipments despite all the flight cancellations. Swedish airports have seen a 97 % reduction in flights, and our country is less locked than some others.
