It looks like the planned flight fell through and the packages are waiting for an opening. Understandable under the circumstances. Would have been nice if they hadn’t been sat in a HK warehouse for a month before trying to catch a plane

Hey froggzy,
The message shipment on hold meant that that for some reason, your package could not be shipped. The fact that it goes through the sorting facility in HK means that it will not be put on hold and that it will take the plane soon.
This is what happened to mine. As a side comment, having dealt with DHL in a professional context, the delivery date is only an estimate if the process goes smoothly and without any delay. With the current sanitary context, delay were unavoidable and even if the situation seems to resolve itself slowly, the backlog will not disappear quickly either.
I hope you will receive yours soon.

Yup. This is the good part of the journey. It’s a short wait now. The bad part was that warehouse in HK, Germany. Still laughing at that.

Nice mine says it’s delivered… but DHL gave it to some guy in my house apparently… what should i say… the name they mention in the delivery doesn’t exist in the house… morrons…
They probably got the name wrong. Talk to your neighbours, someone will likely have it. I think the name is OCRd from a signature, so you get the wildest stuff.
well the signature they got is just a straight line… so yeah …

Btw, this is the first I hear of someone getting theirs delivered here. Good. People understandably tend to post when things aren’t working, but this is important info. I thought they all missed the last flight.

I am Indigogo Contributor 19568 from December last year and have never received any update. My Backerkit pledge is still on status ‚adress locked’ - but i am meanwhile not sure if Backerkit is in anyway relevant to the shipping process anymore. Glad to hear that some of you Swiss Contributors started to receive their devices.
I tried to check the shipping lists - but haven‘t found my ID (neither Backerkit nor ContribID).

I got mine today after I got the tracking id around April 23 (list 2 shipment). On May 11 I got a confirmation from DHL that I will presumably get my parcel by the end of May 14. On May 12 it went back to the DHL sort facility in HK and was put on hold.
Yesterday it was finally shipped over to Germany.
DHL mentions that I have signed for the parcel which is not exactly true as they just put it into my mailbox.
Interestingly the most visible recipient name and address are not mine but those of someone in a completely different city in CH. But the DHL recipient name is mine…
