We saw many comments about Apple TV+ app.
Here is what we know:
- Apple didn’t release an official APK for Android
- APPLE TV+ is only available for somes TVs, Roku, Fire TV
- We tested Apple TV+ from a web browser directly on the PicoPix Max: it works
- We have tested the Fire TV APK on our Max: it doesn’t work

Apple recently released the official Apple TV app on the Play Store. I’ve tried several methods to install it on my PicoPix Max, but it appears that the app only supports Android 10 or newer, while the projector is running Android 9. Is there a way to update the projector’s Android version or install the official Apple TV app another way? The version currently on the projector doesn’t work for me—it plays ads and recaps, but when the actual movie or series begins, the screen either goes pink or shows a constant loading indicator.
