Does PPM support HDR via USB C ?
What type of USB C is implemented in the unit ?
This is at least partially related to HDR10 is there or was a gimmick?
The USB-C video port implements HDMI alt-mode (and nothing else if I have understood it correctly).
The USB-C power port implements a standard Power Delivery sink (with a pretty uptight policy it seems as people have difficulties having power contracts negotiated from fairly common chargers like Apple ones).
Edit: The only video alt-mode supported by the PPM USB-C video port is alt-mode DP, not HDMI -> Connecting laptop using USB-C cable

Correct, HDMI 1.4 as used in the PPM does not support HDR.
Does USB C support it? I’m planning to get additional converter usb c to HDMI to hook up game console with HDR.
Not the PPM USB-C port. It’ll just run the USB-C port in HDMI alt-mode and feed the signal to the internal HDMI switch the same way as the HDMI port signals.
