Onboarding to Screeneo UL5 Smart

Hi,
Just received my Screeneo UL5 Smart as part of the campaign on Indiegogo. And I must say I have not experienced the installation process as intuitive.

I am experiencing the following issues:

  • I cannot interact with the Netflix app as it seems to need Airmote and does not respond to the direction keys
  • I am not sure how to install or use Airmote or the gyroscope mouse (name in quick start manual) . I have found some instructions for other Philips projectors but these are different (cannot find the bluetooth setting for the UL5 Smart)
  • The Disney app keeps restarting when I try to login
  • Streaming via Airplay or Chromecast does not seem to work

Is anybody experiencing similar issues?

Hey, similar experience as your first and last bullet.

Netflix seems to work with the pointer, but I cannot “scroll” through the media and really do anything other than watch like 2-3 things. And the left/right/up/down buttons don’t do anything like you said.

One time I got Chromecast to work randomly via my phone somehow, but it was not through clicking the little rectangle symbol. Couldn’t repeat it.

Regarding Netflix. Have you tried using the pointer and then keeping the “ok” button pressing while moving up and down?
It is working for me. Although using the left/right/up/down buttons would have probably been easier.

And whow, you got the Chromecast to work once. That is already 100% more than I did :grinning:.
