PicoPix Max One - Screen flashes colors

I have been using PicoPix Max One for several months without any issues. Now I have the following problems:

  1. The PicoPix can be started using the remote control
  2. The PicoPix starts and shows the logotype on white background
  3. The PicoPix shows the menu and starts cycling background colors on the screen
  4. The remote control is completely unresponsive. Nothing works. Not even POWER button.
  5. Input an HDMI device, confirmed to be working on another screen, does not do anyting
  6. Only thing that can be done is to press the POWER button twice to shut off

Because of this behavior it is impossible to Factory Reset or Update the Firmware.

Please advise?

I think there is something wrong with the dmd-chip controller, or a timing problem. Normally the flashing from the rgb-leds is so fast that for the eyes a smooth picture is projected. Or it could be the controller chip for the rgb-leds…

Did anyone resolve this issue? Mine is doing this now too.

My PicoPix Max One projector is doing the same as well :(. I cannot use the projector anymore… Any chance it overheated in any of your cases?

Seems that the projector is in sort of test mode?
