It it’s not different for all then If custom department consider the MRP (899 Euro) then it’s the same amount we are paying for the device and duty.
Hope it would be based on the contribution made by individuals.

Thanks for your comment. Anyway I haven’t called DHL for any update or so. But they have mentioned it would be delivered by EOD today.
Anyway I can understand there is a staff crunches in everywhere so delay might be little bit more.
BTW I am in Bangalore and most of the areas in Bangalore are open. With respect to Delhi here cases are also low. Let’s see how fast DHL is pushing to customs to clear the items and deliver the same to individual.

I spoke to DHL on everyone’s behalf. 
Apparently there is pre customs and post customs procedure that has to be fulfilled. Because of COVID the officers turning up to assess are only 50% in strength in bangalore. I guess that should be the same for Delhi as well. But the process itself generally takes upto 48 hrs. Hopefully we will see movement tomorrow. They cant deliver in chennai because of complete lockdown but i can go pick up from the warehouse when it reaches there since cargo movement is allowed.

Of course. I have sanitisers in the car enough to sanitise the entire car. no other way, else i only get it after July 1 which doesnt make any sense.

oh that depends. Ethanol based sanitisers which are required to have more than 80% alcohol could be dangerous. I happen to do an investigation on the efficiency of such sanitisers. Its not too alarming. read about it here. A shameless plug but it is vital information Sanitiser manufacturers operate without licenses, no inspection due to COVID-19

my shipment is detained by Delhi customs for value proof and they are asking for bank remittance copy or manufacturer’s price list or internet price.
what is to be done please help.

@Suresh_Kakkar you can give your payment receipt from when you ordered. internet price has gone up so I wouldnt recommend showing that link.

One of the earliest backers from India who got the PPM very early had the same issue. He had to write a letter to the customs asking for enhancement of value of the item. Then he had to pay 15.7k.
