This thing was happened to me when I supported the Pamu Slide (wireless headphone) project. They had demanded the invoice. Generally we are getting the invoice from indiegogo when we do the contribution. You might find in the mail or you should provide the same from the contribution page and submit the same to Custom office.
In that case shipment was handled by India Post. I am having the first time experience with DHL so don’t know about the same.
Recently I had got my Lance Glasses from Indiegogo and it was delivered from UPS. There they had asked me to pay custom money and they had shared their account details. Also they had given a option for COD and I had paid using UPI when UPS delivery boy had delivered. For Lance Glasses India Post/Custom was not came in between. But I had got the payment certificate copy via email from UPS on behalf of Govt. of India.
If they had held the article for the what payment we made and they are asking for the same then we need to provide either bank/CC statement details or Indiegogo contribution invoice. Generally they will email us before demanding this kind of document.
Got an update saying “clearance process complete” today morning. But still sitting ducks in bangalore. No movement. Hopefully should see some activity today. @imdevu Is your shipment on hold after this message?

Have got the import duty payment link from DHL for 7.1K and it costs me around 7.3K with CC payment. Shipment got departed from BLR facility to HYD and hope it will be delivered today.

How much was your invoice price/how much was the price when you booked your PPM?
I know little of:
- how to generate invoices or price lists
- Indian customs
- how goods are valued for taxation
I know Backerkit will provide you with a copy of your order, you could use that.
Other than that I can advise, perhaps @Philips_Support_N or @Philips_Support_N can, but even that I don’t know.
