I am sure they’ll make an x-ray scan rather than opening the box. That’s what they did in my case.
I hope that is the case… with monsoon onset… electronics left around is bad!

I have received an import from Hong Kong through DHL courier. I was requested to product the value evidence for which I have not received the invoice. This product has been gifted to me hence I kindly request you to appraise the value as a fair value. I would also like to state that this is for my personal use and not for commercial purpose. I request you to kindly release the consignment at the earliest.

Please feel free to edit and sign the letter and share it with your DHL person annd follow up with him.

Hello, my Indiegogo contribution number is in List 3. It is #14925. I have not received any information on DHL tracking number yet. I emailed on official Philips account as well but did not receive any reply. Could you please share where/how I can get this information?

This is very unfortunate. This China situation is getting really bad for consumers. Hope Phillips moves production to India or south east Asia. I don’t think the rest of the world will continue to engage with an authoritarian regime intent in expansion by force.

Still facing challenging with the customs. Looks like this is the invoice/details pasted in the projector.
But the amount I paid is close to $600. My IGG page, bank statement and the email shows $600. But because the consigment value is maked as $200, they are now asking for a letter for declaration of mis-match in value. Sigh! It is getting so hard to get this projector through customs.
I provided one, but they need one from your end as well? Will you be able to provide the same?

This is the correct value for customs.
Customs can’t charge more as per present price as it really hasn’t started retailing as yet.
Each and everyone paid a diff amount.customs can’t charge diff for same product.
It happened because one of Ur guys got excited n fwdd his contribution invoice…
I had been continuously wrong abt it .
PPL shd have communicated with philips…
Anywy its done now n indian customs will extract their pound of flesh
Send me / upload a copy of the letter you provided and I can try to get you something along the same lines but from our side.

I sent the following email to the DHL agent.
Hi Team,
I invested in the project on Indiegogo and got a pre-market sample, as it’s not commercially available yet , which is why the projector has been valued at this price of $200.
I paid more than this amount but that was partly to help fund the product being created and for the product itself. I am an early investor in the product and I had invested back in October 2019.
Please find attached the following documents:
- Proof of backing on Indiegogo Website. Refer attachment: IGG Contribution.pdf
- Payment proof email. Refer attachment: Payment Email .pdf
In addition to the above I have provided credit card statement, payment email and account statement where amount was debited from my card.
My status just changed to the below. Not sure what this means. I hope I will get some clarity today.
Mine has been with Customs from June 18. And I have submitted the above documents 4-5 times in this time period. I would urge everyone to stay patient and keep responding to the communication recieved. I will update here if there is any further movement.
