I’m having some issues with my new UL5 Smart projector.
It has happened a couple of times while watching Netflix, the projector just turn off. Then it takes a few seconds after you can turn it on again. I don’t know why this is happening. Is it faulty?
Just as an update, I talked to support and they recommended doing a factory reset which I did and it hasn’t happened yet in the couple of days I’ve used after that.
I’ll keep testing and report back if it happens again.
Ive never overcame this issue yet, i cant enjoy the projector at all…it turns off after 5 mins. Factory resets latest OS, uninstall problem apps, sleep timer settings…only Spotify stays on…seems video playings
Yes… it still happens to me from time to time. And they haven’t released any firmware update in months, no communication from Philips etc, very disappointed that a company such as this is acting like this, very sad.
These are the causes such as overheating, failing hardware (like the power supply, RAM, or battery), software issues (including malware or driver problems), or problems with external factors like power surge protectors.
These are the troubleshooting steps -
Check the device’s internal temperature,
Scan for malware
Update drivers and system software,
And look for hardware issues such as loose components or failing parts.
I have a Neopix 230, it crashes on virtually every start up and after up to 4 goes gets there. I will never ever buy another philips product again, they should have stuck to lightbulbs only! It’s the shoddiest thing I have ever had. Wails so loud I have to turn the volume up, the general functionality is so unimaginative, if this is swiss designed then I must be a monkeys uncle! I’m getting fed up of companies pretending to be of whatever nation we trust, before it was german, well they are all garbage now so they pretend to be swiss. This is the worlds cheapest smartphone with a bright light behind the screen and a lens!
