The PicoPix Max One is not an upgrade but the little brother. Indeed we corrected the bug with the 4corners on HDMI/USB-C.

Looks like an upgrade to me, as many users reflect that PPM āsmartā experience is a hurdle and reliant too much on workarounds. At least, basic features like HDMI CEC, ARC and a polished UI seem to be covered in PPM One.
Almost a full year has passed since I placed my order (still waiting) and IĀ“ve been patient so far because there is no similar projector that tick all the boxes (form factor, battery life and brightness) but this announcement is a game-changer and makes me consider asking for a refund (retail price of the new model is pretty close to what I paid for PPM).
Is PPM One expected to be released at the end of November? How about brightness? does it share the same lumens as PPM?

Are you still going to give support to the ppmax? Movistar, amazon prime and Netflix aptoides are not workjng. I can log in, select the movie and then a black screen without audio, just information over time running.
Not to talk about the corners when proyecting content through cromecast. Also the Amazon smart fire stick is givjng the same problem when conected to the ppm, black screen, only information over the time running.
On top of that I have a sonos audio system and I end up conecting a much worse speaker with a cable because bluetooth doesnāt work either!!!
Very tiring and disapointing.
Did you update the prime and Netflix apps through Aptoide, you werenāt supposed to and that could be why you are having an issue. Uninstall them and then a link to the app download should pop up.

Yes please donāt update Prime or Netflix. As we say: if something work, donāt touch itā¦
Autofocus means that you have a camera that works with a motor to automatically focus. Elctric focus or motorized focus means that you need to manually adjust the focs with -/+ buttons. There is no camera to adjust it automatically

I believe itās a great compromise if resolution and ANSI lumens are the same compared to the PicoPix Max. On the other hand, you can turn it into a smart projector by plugging in the new google chromecast (android tv) for an extra 60 dollars.
Exactly what I have been looking for, but I have a few questions:
I never found the specs about the DMD chip size (neither the picopix max). It says true full hd so I suppose we are talking about a 0.47 sensor. Is that correct?
Can I use my macbook pro to send video AND power over usb-c without using an external power supply?

No, itās .23", same as Xgimi Mogo, if I am not mistaken. It uses pixel shifting to achieve 1080p.
And I donāt think any laptop can provide enough power to PPM unless there are now USB ports that supports 65W and up? I think type-C ports does support high wattage but Iām not sure if they work like that in laptops.
