Nope, they said they will try to send everything before CNY. Due to some minor problems and delays they didnt managed to succeed. If you read closely they are still working on the so told 1600 of this batch since it is all mannually. And those would be infomed this night.
At this point they working as hard as they can to deliver as much as soon as possible.

What I do not understand is the fact that ppl with higher backer numbers received their projector well before the ones who contributed right from the beginning. There are ppl who are well below 100 who have yet to receive theirs. What on earth is going on
It’s because European backers have a special procedure and therefore receive it later. I am 2XX and not received yet, hopefully soon.
We are not that different. Most Europeans paid MWSt VAT or whatever in advance. But still nothing.
I even send my company address with my VAT number which was ignored. So I payed VAT from my own pocket but still nothing

Hi Guys we just finished the file. A lot of people used wrong address, sometimes no phone numbers, wrong area/region and gave us a lot of troubles. The items are sent and now we need to upload them on backerkit. Will do it tomorrow morning.
Just to explain you the process:
1: you purchase on indiegogo
2: after 11 days, backerkit is sent, you are supposed to complete your address
3: we export the backerkit database to an Excel file for our forwarder
4: our forwarder is checking all address one by one with DHL
5: we have a feedback from DHL with all issues
6: we need to check issues with each and every backers
7: we update the Excel file
8: DHL is checking again
9: our forwarder is making an excel file
10: we are matching there excel file to our backerkit
11: we upload the CSV to backerkit in order for you to receive the tracking number
So… Is that Sat Jan 18th or Sunday Jan 19th you’ll upload to backerkit?
Its just that at the moment you’ve said lots of things that have not been true - this would help to make things better, and delaying it by a day would give rise to more complaints.
Tbh - you need to complain to backerkit - you are paying them for a service - they really need to be checking addresses, missing phone numbers etc.
Its part of the percentage they take. Making it easy for you.
I don’t think it is fair to say that they lie (things that are not true). The things they say at the time is the best guess or they were true at the time of writing.
The good news is that they are shipping this weekend

Sue backerkit. They need to handle everything needed for fulfillment, otherwise what is their added value?
There should never have been missing info if BackerKit’s form validation was setup properly, and I’ve built address validation using the Google Geo APIs and it’s not rocket science. Nor is phone number validation.
Their added value is that Phillips can reach many people with intrest in short time. And why would that google api be necessary, people should just fill in their actual addresses.
You cannot blame someone for trying to ease things.
Hey, we’re all in the same boat here. Philips explained how shipping works even before the first batch was sent. They are sending first by region and then prioritize the IDs. Which means that even if you have a contribution ID 1 and you are in EU, you’ll have to wait the batch for the EU. It’s a financial nonsense to expect that they would ship by contribution ID first. This was discussed quite a few times in the Telegram group and on IGG. And hey, look it from the bright side. If you were one of the first to get it, you might have had issues with the auto focus wheel 
+ all the software issue they had…so better to get it later but perfect.
Were you able to handle the VAT situation with them? Did you requested an invoice on hello@picopix.com ?
What is your contribution ID? Maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones to get it sooner in EU cause I’m 16k+

“Just put in their addresses” is not how it works, because DHL or any other shipper will need the address in a structured format. But it’s a solved problem.
BackerKit seems to want to solve it too, but apparently doesn’t.
