Shipping to Europe

Hello guys, please calm down. For the french people, please write in english.
The forwarder asked us many paper work and we just sent it to them to release the goods.
For the most skeptic, here is the email we sent to the forwarder.

As for me, I understand French (and some of the other languages posted here), but this is clearly an English platform. Even the TOS and FAQ are English, though Screeneo is Swiss and English is one of the few languages that is not official in Switzerland.

I consider it rude to whisper in public, and not using the common language on a public forum is very close to that. The posters can use google translate to post in English, instead of forcing 95% of the readers to do the same, at least until the auto-translate is implemented in the forum software.

Browsers’ built in translate features don’t like mixed language pages so won’t work well.

It just makes sense to post in English…

I’m french but I agree with you, and I notice french people are the ONLY ONES to do that, I haven’t seen other people posting in other languages on the forum. Consider it an opportunity to improve your English skills.

I am French too and noticed the same. It’s crazy that it happens only to (only few) French people. No wonder why the rest of the world believe we are arrogant…

French government took 9 weeks to send me one document and you are losing patience because they took 24 hours ? You don’t know how complex those documents are, they could require info from several people and signatures. I am number 200 so I have been waiting for a long time but still we need to chill, we will survive a few more days without PPM.

Same here my DHL tracking remained unchanged ever since I got it in Backerkit. Impossible to track even though I wish I can. Zip code it’s always wrong. More or less I have given up and only hope for the best the PPM reaches me.

Still life goes on. I have to celebrate Chinese New Year using my trusted Philips TV :slight_smile:

Philips admins spoke french in this forum many times already.
Someone asked for something in French, I answered him in french.

For those who asked, you can use this link : DHL Privatkunden - Paketversand und Paketempfang mit DHL
Simply put your tracking number and click on “Suchen”
Then, you’ll be able to put your zip code on the only available field if you want to verify you have the right tracking code.

If the zipcode fails… at no matter which site… you have a wrong code. You need to ask @Philips_Support_N in a pm for the right tracking code

@Philips_Support_N, could you please confirm the steps taken to prevent problems to the autofocus gear int the units that you have shipped to Europe? I am concerned about that!
I am checking the DHL status at least 20 times a day, and impatient to receive my ppm!! :slight_smile:

@Philips_Support_N I live in Amsterdam, but so far I did not receive any mail from BakerKit and the order is still in status “Address Locked”. Should I begin getting concerned?

lots of people, me included got wrong tracking number on backerkit. Please write private message to @Philips_Support_N with your email address, county and name to receive the actual tracking number. you can then check it with your zipcode/postcode.

Most likely you are going to get you PPM in the next batch to Europe. Everyone who is going to receive it this time around, has status shipped. Maybe with the wrong tracking number, but at least we got one. The factory reopen in 1,5 week and then they start producing and soon after shipping again

Still no update on dhl.should we give up hope for this week turn of our phones and wait for monday? Lol

Ok still no change in Shipping status!
DHL is probably still waiting for the goods as they only got an electronic order in the system.

So We should need to wait like 2 more weeks right now, if they get shipped right at all!
(Speculations are now starting again in a new forum and is hurting Screeneo/Philips brand.)

This logistic and distribution setup seems to be bad! Not to blame any one but DHL usually delivers on time so Screeneo/Philips should spend some time and validate and get this correct/working!

Please give us correct, validated information and status updates!

I don’t want to sound disrespectful and normally I am only reading here instead of writing, but I think a couple of comments are just not fair towards Philips! Please make the efforts reading through all the posts before you start questioning their transparency and honesty. They shared a lot of info including emails about the status of the shipment. I do understand the frustration as I am waiting myself as well for the product, but they can not do more than they did.

Agree that you should use nice words and understand that there could be issues, delays and wrong doings!

After following threads and other

it’s still all about communication and providing correct information to your customers and information needs to be more correct than it has been!

Information given creates expectations and raises alot of questions!

That’s why communication and information needs to be validated before it’s sent out to people and the community!

It will then save time for Screeneo/Philips and all it’s cistomers.

Getting more excited now that the shipment is in Germany and Screeneo has supplied the documents to the forwarder for processing.Not gonna lie I thought it’d be quicker after the shipment arrived in Belgium on Wednesday, with it being right next to Germany and all…

Hopefully though early next week all documents will have processed and we should see movement via the DHL DE tracking numbers! Can’t wait and hope the unit isn’t broken or defective considering the extended QC process…

Thanks for the regular updates on the shipment location @Philips_Support_N, very nice to know where it is so we can manage expectations on our tracking ID’s becoming active!
